Laura Rogers Piano Studio
Laura Rogers Piano Studio
Inspired Teaching. Inspired Music. Inspired Performance

Laura Rogers’ deep love of music, and specifically playing the piano, has fueled her passion for teaching others.

She is dedicated to sharing this passion with her students through warmth and genuine care for them as unique individuals.

Her goal is to develop independent learners and lovers of music.

Laura has had a lifelong pursuit of excellence. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Music at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, she went on to study with one of the preeminent pianists and teachers of the 20th Century, Ralph Berkowitz.  It was during this time that she met her husband, downhill skier, and jazz guitar enthusiast, Kevin.

Laura has been dedicated to ongoing education and study throughout her career.

She seeks to bring new, creative ideas to the studio by attending national conferences (Music Teachers National Association and National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy) and with active memberships of state and local music teachers associations.

In spite of the many formal educational avenues that Laura attends, and private lessons, her best teaching inspiration comes from time spent with her professional colleagues in Columbine Valley and Littleton over a cup of coffee.

When Laura is not practicing piano, you’ll find her at the golf course working to improve her game, or riding her electric bike, Clara (after Clara Schumann).
